D-FIJL AN-2 & D-ESEB Columbia 400

Postby DerWaldfuerst » Thu 6. Jun 2013, 21:56

Hi there,

I just leased my AN-2 and the Columbia 400 to WAC, both are currently in EDDK.
Teddii suggested to lease the AN-2 to WAC becasue it would make sense in that area around EDDK.
Please treat her nice, otherwise her engine will quit duty on you. 8-)

Thank you, Sabastian!

I think it's great to have the An-2 here! It can carry much more than the C172 or the C337 and is probably much cheaper to fly than the DC-3.
And it is good terrain for the An-2 as well (just like on the NY network). The scenery is pretty flat here :-)

At the moment I'm flying her to EDDF with 7 passengers onboard :-)

Cheers,
Markus

Which DC-3 are you flying usually? The X-Plane model I mean. If it´s for V9 then I might do some test flights to evaluate it´s "real" performance, compared to the "default" performance/values given by FSE. Then I can check how significant the difference between both is.
I´ll write a post about how I do performance evaluation for FSE in another section here.

P.S. Performance, it´s evaluation and economics are friggin´interesting, to me at least. 8-)

I'm using the payware model from http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/douglas-p-84.html

I'm not sure, if it's V9 compatible...
