Grove Field to Harris in the Boeing Stearman

Postby Snow » Fri 2. Dec 2011, 16:15

Today, I decided to take the Stearman for a short flight.
At 1W1 Grove Field, there was a passenger waiting for a trip to WN05 Harris.
Though the weather wasn't the best for VFR, I decided to risk the flight.

I was roughly heading north-west to find the Columbia River from where I wanted to follow the Cowlitz River.

..still flying IFR (= I Follow Rivers)

I knew, I had to head north after spotting Ed Carson Memorial Field, so it wasn't too tricky to find the runway of Harris Field.

...and parked.

Now I'm preparing the flight back south to the home base of the Stearman: Evergreen Field
